From "Out of This World: Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy," an annotated reading list from the National Library of Canada: "This scholarly overview of Canadian science fiction and fantasy from 1839 to the present [i.e., through 1980s] provides a comprehensive survey of English and French Canadian and ex-patriate [sic] science fiction and fantasy works and movements, including critical summaries, analyses, and discussions of the careers of authors and editors" (p. 37).
