As of October 2014, SB is an emeritus professor of general engineering at the U of Illinois, Urbana, who does "computer-based artwork derived from mathematical equations. . . . Each image may be thought of as a collection of 2.8 million very small colored dots," where each dot "represents the solution of a mathematical equation or process" (from one of SB's handouts on his art).[1]
