Onto a photograph of a draped, classical female sculpture of "Athena Lemnia von Phidias," a cutaway diagram of an internal combustion engine is superimposed for the torso, with the head replaced by either a carburetor of an unusual design or some other mechanism. The effect might be described as the superimposition of the modern mechanical (and automotive) upon the classical, female, and divine. Keyword here: "Dada."
