Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams. TV anthology series, UK Channel 4 17 September 2017 f, and in the USA on Amazon Video on 12 January 2018 f.

Televised versions of stories by P. K. Dick. Relevant here (following Wikipedia entry, our major source here)[1], these episodes.

"Crazy Diamond," 8 October 2017. Based on Dick's "Sales Pitch." Set in a world of "synthetic humanoids" ("Jacks and Jills"), given "intelligence and emotion" by QCs ("quantum consciousness"). The protagonist "is approached by a dying Jill, who wants him to help her steal ten QCs – one to extend her own lifespan, and the rest to sell, with a share going to" the protagonist to start over with his (presumably human) wife.
"Autofac," 5 March 2018. As in the story, "after a nuclear war, a small community of survivors" finds themselves "challenged by an automated corporate factory, which uses drones to send them unnecessary goods [...]."
"Safe and Sound," 12 March 2018; from "Foster, You're Dead!", but apparently with less Cold War emphasis.[2] "In a near-future dystopia, the United States is divided between high-tech, hysterically paranoid "safe" cities and "bubble" communities where invasive technologies are rejected." A mother and daughter from a "bubble" must function in a big city.[3]

Discussed briefly in Evan Kindley's "The Future Ain't What It Used to Be: TV's Dystopia Boom."
