Develops LM's "conviction that cyberpunk represents not only an apotheosis of postmodernism but that it is also currently producing some of the most important art of our times"—in films, TV, and music as well as in literature (8). LM feels that cyberpunk mirrors our era's "central motifs, obsessions, and desires," many of them closely related to technological change (8-9).
